NY Textile Lab

NY Textile Lab works with regional fiber farms, mills and local manufacturers to help grow an economically diverse, statewide textile supply chain. We aim to rebuild regional textile production, which adds value to our communities and the environment. Textile Lab believes that it’s important to share information about the provenance of materials and the socio-economic effects of manufacturing. We embrace and celebrate material diversity as necessary to balancing our ecosystems and adopt textile practices that regenerate and sustain. We believe the creation of textiles and textile products should be built on social and environmental value.

Our New York Native yarns, textiles, and products are sourced, spun, knit and woven within 300 miles of NYC. They are a blend of NYS Corriedale wool from the Southern Adirondack Wool Pool and alpaca from Little Creek Farm Alpacas in North Salem, NY.
